Helping a local favorite serve up profits

Pancho & Lefty’s opened in 2017 to broad acclaim and brisk business.

Located in a high profile Fifth Avenue location across the street from Bridgestone Arena, this authentic Cantina quickly became Music City’s go-to location for Mexican street food with a Nashville twist. Its success prompted the opening of a second location in trendy Sylvan Park – which created a messaging challenge for the brand.

Compared to the tourist-fueled buzz associated with downtown’s “Lower Broad” district, Sylvan Park is a comparatively quiet, residential neighborhood where families appreciate locally-owned restaurants that have stood the test of time.

Recognizing the need to appeal to the unique New Heartland sensibility, Pancho & Lefty’s turned to NHG to help bridge this delicate dynamic. We provided brand strategy and development, content creation, social media management, customer relations, paid digital and traditional media – as well as merchandise design and production, and PR.

The result? Year one saw an 87% increase in web traffic and a 45% increase in social following. More importantly, revenue increased substantially across the board.
