Inspiring Tennesseans to Give a Hoot
Tennessee spends a staggering $23 million a year on litter pickup and prevention. Studies show that there are an average of 88.5 million pieces of litter on Tennessee roads at any given time.
That’s simply unacceptable.
And the Tennessee Department of Transportation is working to correct it.
Nobody Trashes Tennessee is a litter prevention campaign designed to harness Tennesseans’ pride in their home state in an effort to keep trash off the roadways. The statewide effort is backed by a significant media presence, including television, radio, outdoor, digital, and social media.
NHG was enlisted to secure celebrity talent that would ensure the message was properly connecting with the target audience. To that end we gathered an enviable lineup of local favorites – including All-Pro Tennessee Titans linebacker, Brian Orakpo, acclaimed singer-songwriter and Grand Ole Opry inductee Lauren Alaina, and nationally syndicated country radio morning show host, author, and comedian Bobby Bones, among others.
Once talent was secured, we produced the creative assets and deployed through all channels.
