Bringing two authentic classics together

As the world’s largest pizza chain, Pizza Hut is no stranger to celebrity endorsements. But even the giants can use a hand once in a while.

To help launch their new line of barbecue pizzas, Pizza Hut enlisted NHG to recruit country music and television superstar Blake Shelton – who not only provided the face of the campaign, but also the inspiration behind the flavors.

The line included Blake’s Smokehouse BBQ, Hawaiian BBQ, and Honey BBQ Chicken – all linked to Shelton’s authentic reputation as a backyard grilling enthusiast.

In addition to managing all aspects of talent acquisition, production day scheduling, and creative approvals behind the nationwide launch, (which included life-size cutouts of Shelton where fans could capture a “Shelfie” to share on Pizza Hut socials), NHG also activated Pizza Hut’s sponsorship of Blake’s summer tour – all while providing insight and guidance on reaching Heartland consumers.
