The challenge: CMNH wanted to expand their fundraising and awareness efforts. New Heartland Group was retained to develop a college-based program to fuel innovative thinking by Millennials and Gen Z.
Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) has raised more than $5 billion—most of it $1 at a time—for 170 children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada to save and improve children’s lives.
Developed in conjunction with top Universities, the “tournament” type platform encourages small groups of students to submit fundraising ideas, with finalists presenting at an annual CMNH convention. The winner receives a paid internship at CMNH and funds to test their idea. New Heartland Group developed all aspects of the platform including strategy, design, content, digital, social and execution.
